Arkansas State University-Newport announced Tuesday that the college will offer a “Wheels and Heels” basic automobile maintenance and light repair class designed for women on its Marked Tree campus this summer.

The one-day course will be offered on three dates; July 14, July 21 and July 28.  There is no cost to attend the course, but class sizes are limited and pre-registration is required.

The course will run from 8:00 a.m. until noon, and topics covered will include basic automobile maintenance, roadside repairs, powertrain service and safety.
