For the first time in its history, Arkansas State University – Newport held one of two regional competitions for the Arkansas Science Olympiad on Saturday, March 10.

For the first time in its 50-year history, Arkansas State University-Newport at Marked Tree has a full-time campus police officer and is pleased to announce the recent hiring of Officer Kevin Foust.

Arkansas State University-Newport and the AARP are joining forces again to present a Driver Safety course for ASU-Newport at Jonesboro.  The course will be held Friday, March 9 and will run from 9:00 a.m.

More than 51 students from 17 area high schools converged on the Jonesboro campus of Arkansas State University-Newport Feb 22 for the ninth-annual Northeast Arkansas Weldathon, hosted by ASU-Newport and Ozarc Gas.

On Tuesday, February 20 nineteen students from six area high schools converged on the Marked Tree campus of Arkansas State University-Newport for the annual Energy Control Competition.

Arkansas State University – Newport has announced the inaugural recipient of the Three Rivers Healthcare & Rehabilitation Scholarship as Jacob Breytspeak.

NEWPORT (Ark.)  – More than 280 Arkansas State University-Newport students were named to the Chancellor’s or Vice-Chancellor’s lists for academic excellence for the Fall 2017 semester, the college announced Monday.
