Liberal Arts

Overview

Liberal Arts degrees are mainly designed to provide general education basics for individuals planning to pursue a Baccalaureate degree at a 4-year institution. Our graduates in Liberal Arts go on to work toward higher degrees in the Humanities, Teaching, Social Work, Psychology, Social Sciences, Business, and other related fields.  The courses leading to the AGS degree may be transferable on an individual basis through the Arkansas Course Transfer System (ACTS).  Specific tracks are available to allow students to get prerequisite courses in many pre-professional programs.
