Get help to improve your academic success, with Arkansas State University-Newport’s Academic Support Centers.  ASUN has the resources available to help you pass college entrance exams and help you be successful while you attend ASUN. ASUN Academic Support Centers are located at Newport, Marked Tree, and Jonesboro. The Academic Support Centers are great locations to work on homework, study for exams, collaborate with other students, meet with tutors, etc. 

Test Preparation Materials

The Academic Support Centers have access to online practice and study exams in the areas of CDL truck driving, nursing prep, PRAXIS, ACT and SATs.

Academic Tutoring

One-on-one and group tutoring is available to students. Tutors work with students in all developmental classes as well as other course levels. Tutorial services include math and writing as well as study software which can be accessed for a variety of subjects including math, science, history and writing.

Academic Success Workshops

Workshops are available on the following topics: Study skills, time management, compass preparation, library database usage, and much more.
