Arkansas State University-Newport Career Services provides ASUN students with the knowledge, skills, and connections to become confident in their career exploration. Students have the opportunity to meet with a staff member to receive a resume critique, review of their cover letter, and participate in a mock interview. A variety of career planning presentations and workshops for classes or student organizations are also available on a variety of topics including career services overview, leadership, job search preparation, interviewing, resume/cover letter, professional image, and social media presence. Career Services also plans career fairs throughout the year to link students with possible career opportunities.
