JONESBORO, Ark. (3-26-2014) - More than 45 students from 13 area high schools and one vocational college converged on the Jonesboro campus of Arkansas State University-Newport Friday for the sixth-annual Northeast Arkansas Weldathon, hosted by ASUN and Ozarc Gas.

NEWPORT, Ark. (2-24-2014) — Classes begin March 16 and registration remains open for Spring Flex courses at Arkansas State University-Newport. Spring Flex courses are offered each year in addition to ASUN’s regular spring course offerings.

NEWPORT, Ark. (2/10/2015) — Thanks to the generosity and efforts of individuals from Arkansas State University-Newport and Jackson County, “Becky’s Closet” is a resource now available to ASU-Newport students who are soon to be entering the workforce.

NEWPORT (Ark.) 1/21/2015 – Over 275 Arkansas State University-Newport students were named to the Chancellor’s or Vice-Chancellor’s lists for academic excellence for the Fall 2014 semester, the college announced Wednesday.

NEWPORT (Ark.) 1/20/2015 – Arkansas State University-Newport and Maverick Transportation will begin a training partnership Thursday that will produce as many as 96 drivers yearly for the North Little Rock-based trucking company.
