Adam Adair

Adam Adair

Mr. Adam Adair was appointed as Vice Chancellor for Fiscal Affairs in 2012. He earned his bachelor’s degree in accounting from Arkansas State University and a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. Mr. Adair completed the Next Generation of Chief Business Officer’s Institute program presented by the Southern Association of College and University Business Officers (SACUBO) in 2008. He is also 2009 and 2010 graduate of the AATYC Higher Education Leadership Institute. Read more about Mr. Adair

Holly AyersHolly Ayers

Dr. Holly Ayers was appointed the college’s new Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs on November 16, 2015.  Prior to her appointment as Vice Chancellor, Ayers served as the Director of Institutional Effectiveness at ASU-Newport.  As Director of Institutional Effectiveness, Ayers served as the Higher Learning Commission Accreditation Liaison and Chair of the Higher Learning Commission Academy for the Assessment of Student Learning. Read more about Dr. Ayers

Jeff Bookout

Jeff Bookout

In January 2014, Jeff Bookout was named Vice Chancellor for Strategic Initiatives for ASU-Newport. Jeff began his career in higher education at Ozark Technical College in 1993 where he served as the Financial Aid Officer for five years. In June 2016, Ashley Buchman was named as the Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs. Dr. Buchman assumed the Vice Chancellor role after serving in various capacities at ASU-Newport since 2008. Recently, Dr. Buchman was Campus Dean and Dean of Retention & Student Success. Read more about Dr. Buchman

Ike Wheeler

Ike Wheeler

In January 2014, Ike Wheeler was named as the Dean for Institutional Advancement.  Mr. Wheeler has been associated with Arkansas State University-Newport for the past twenty-three years.  He has responsibility for public relations, campus outreach and events, and alumni relations, as well as institutional advancement. Read more about Mr. Wheeler
