The Campaign for the Center for Health Sciences

Why It’s Needed

The Arkansas Delta faces critical challenges: healthcare professional shortages, limited access to care, and a lack of regional training centers. ASUN’s new Center for Health Sciences will address these issues by:

  • Improving health and employment outcomes in the region
  • Expanding existing healthcare programs and creating new pathways
  • Meeting the non-credit training needs of healthcare partners

Projected Impact: Once completed, the facility will serve 500+ students annually, providing the education and training necessary to shape the future of healthcare in Northeast Arkansas.

  • 5 Clinical Laboratories
  • Surgical Simulation Center: Featuring an operating room
  • Nursing Simulation/Skills Labs: Including patient rooms
  • Radiologic Technology Classroom and Labs
  • Student Study Lounge
  • Medium and Large Classrooms
  • Testing Rooms
  • Faculty Offices
  • Conference Rooms
  • Great Hall Conference Area: 500-seat capacity

Project Budget: $20,000,000
