There are TWO WAYS to order your commencement regalia [cap, gown, and tassel]:

Ticket Information:
- The maximum # of tickets per graduate is 3.
- Guests with tickets need to arrive at least 30 minutes early to ensure seating.
- Guests without tickets will be seated in overflow and possibly moved to CFA if seating becomes available.

REGALIA POLICY
Graduates walking in commencement are required to wear a black cap, gown, and Persian Blue/Black Tassel. Gown must be completely zipped.
No personal adornments shall be worn over the gown except the commencement cords approved & provided by ASUN:
- Gold Cord / students with a cumulative 3.8 GPA
- Blue Cord / Student Government Association
- Red, White & Blue Cord / Veterans
PTK shawls are provided upon paid membership to the Phi Theta Kappa honor society
The top of the cap may be decorated, but it must be non-distracting to the ceremony, other graduates, and guests. Graduates will be asked to remove any adornment which do not comply with the regalia policy.
Before commencement ceremony, the tassel is placed on the RIGHT side of the cap, and then switched to the LEFT side at the end of the ceremony
DIPLOMA DISTRIBUTION
- Degrees & Certificates are awarded after all grades are posted and moved to history.
- Diplomas are mailed after degrees are awarded. Note: December graduates may experience a slight delay due to the holiday break. Student accounts must be clear of holds and have a $0 account balance.
- Diploma Covers are handed to the graduate on the stage during the commencement ceremony

PRACTICAL REGISTERED NURSING CAPPING AND/OR PINNING CEREMONIES
- Capping and/or Pinning ceremonies are held to honor students who are graduating from our Practical & Registered Nursing programs. Students graduating from these programs MUST attend the Capping and/or Pinning ceremony and are encouraged to attend the commencement ceremony.
