In-Person Pantries
We have three in-person pantries: Newport, Marked Tree, and Jonesboro. All food pantries are open Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
ASUN-Jonesboro Campus Location: Main Building (Located in the room behind the Student Affairs window area)
ASUN-Marked Tree Campus Location: Building A (Located in the back corner of the Library)
ASU-Newport Campus Location: Walton Hall Library.
Item Donation
We gladly accept non-perishable food and household items to stock at the pantry locations. Below are guidelines for donating and additional information.
Donation Guidelines
- All donations must be unopened and unexpired.
- Please only donate items that you would purchase for your own family/children.

Monetary Donation
In addition to food and household items, the ASUN Pantry accepts monetary donations. Donating to the ASUN Pantry is easy and tax-deductible. Click here to access the donation form. Be sure to select "ASU Newport Food Pantry" as the fund.
Access Arkansas is an online service provided by the Arkansas Department of Human Services(DHS). It is an anonymous screening of potential eligibility for 20 DHS-managed benefit programs.
Access Arkansas is single-point to submit online applications for the following Arkansas DHS managed programs:
Child Care Assistance - Financial assistance for childcare
Medicare Savings Program - Provides help with paying Medicare premiums
Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) - Assistance buying food
Transitional Employment Assistance (TEA) - provides case management services to assist families with children under 18 years
old with finding employment.
Pregnant Women Medicaid - Health coverage for women over age 19 who are pregnant
Arkansas Works Program - Health care coverage for adults ages 19-64
