Program Overview

The Associate of Applied Science in Radiologic Technology provides training in medical imaging techniques. The program covers anatomy, radiographic procedures, and patient care. Students learn to operate imaging equipment, position patients, and produce diagnostic images. The curriculum includes clinical rotations in hospitals and imaging centers, providing hands-on experience in a real-world setting. Graduates are prepared for certification exams and can work as radiologic technologists in various healthcare facilities. The program emphasizes safety, accuracy, and patient care, ensuring that graduates are equipped to provide high-quality imaging services while minimizing radiation exposure.

Application Requirements

The following scores on the NEX exam are required to be considered for selection:

  • Verbal: 60%
  • Math: 55%
  • Science: 58%
  • Two letters of recommendation are required to be submitted with the application. One will be from a professional reference (Employer, coworkers, teacher, etc.) One will be from a personal reference (friend, family, clergy, etc.).
  • Class will be on Monday & Tuesday 8:30-2:30, clinical and skills lab day/time will vary by semester.
