Scholarship Renewal
Overview
Scope: This policy is applicable to all ASUN Institutional Scholarships that are eligible for renewal.
Renewal Requirements:
- Students must have a 2.00 cumulative grade point average (GPA) and pass 67% of their courses (PACE). The scholarship is renewable until the academic degree is earned long as the renewal requirements are met. Academic progress will be verified at the end of each term of enrollment by the ASUN financial aid office.

If a student fails to meet the renewal requirements, the student will not receive the ASUN Institutional Scholarship(s) in future terms. There is not an opportunity to appeal the loss of ASUN Institutional Scholarships.
Frequently Asked Questions
Q: If I change my major before I complete the initial degree my ASUN institutional scholarship was awarded. does my ASUN Institutional Scholarship move over to my new degree?
A: Yes, but the scholarship may only be renewed through the completion of the new degree or the equivalent of four semesters of full-time enrollment.
Q: Do I have to maintain a full-time enrollment status (12 or more credit hours) to be eligible?
A: The scholarship can be prorated based on the number of hours enrolled. Please see the chart below for more information.
